The mount area uses gray 3M VHB tape to attach the mount. A longer bolt will also be provided for those needing a rock solid mount. The circle part with the sticky tape can be rotated side to side and then locked down by tightening the bolt. The GPS mount part can be rotated up and down and also locked down by tightening a bolt. The mount is sized based on GoPro mounts and could theoretically be used to mount other items, though the strength of the tape has not yet been tested in this use case. Given the modularity of this design, it is possible to design other arms for mounting in additional locations, so be sure to check back for additional design options in the future.
